Security forces kill 27 ISIS elements, repel militant attack on Biji

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that Iraqi forces have managed to kill 27 militants in clashes with the ISIS group in southern Biji.

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, told IraqiNews, “The security forces backed with volunteer fighters from al-Hashed al-Sha’abi have managed to repel an ISIS attack on some areas located in southern Biji,” adding that, “The clashes resulted in killing 27 ISIS elements and destroying 3 vehicles that belonged to the group.”
