(IraqiNews.com) Anbar- Anbar provincial council member, Barakat al-Issawi announced on Wednesday, that the security forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia managed to liberate the regions of al-Tash and al-Humera south of Ramadi, while he emphasized that those forces  have entered parts of Anbar University.

Al-Issawi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, ” Today, the security forces backed by al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia were able to free Al-Tash and Humera regions ,which are located south of Ramadi,” noting that, ” the liberalization of these two strategies regions cut ISIS supplies to the south of Ramadi.”

“The security forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia have moved towards Anbar University and entered parts of it”, indicating that, “ISIS elements had fled from those areas to Khalidiya Island, after the great losses that they have suffered,” Al-Issawi added.
