Security forces raise Iraqi flag over Jiraishi Bridge, cut ISIS supplies to Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) A source in the Joint Special Operations Command announced on Wednesday, that the security forces gained control of Jiraishi Bridge north of Ramadi (110 km west of Baghdad), while pointed out to raising the Iraqi flag over the bridge.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “the security forces of Anbar Operations Command managed, this afternoon, to control Jiraishi Bridge north of the city,” noting that “the security forces had raised the Iraqi flag over the bridge.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “the control of the security forces over the bridge has cut off ISIS supply routes to the center of the city of Ramadi.”
