Security forces recapture Badush Dam in western Mosul

Mosul ( Commander of We Are Coming, Nineveh Operations Command, Lieutenant General Abdel Amir Yarallah, announced on Sunday liberating Badush Dam, in western Mosul, and raising Iraqi flag over it.

Yarallah said in a brief statement that troops of the army’s 9th armored brigade liberated Badush Dam, and raised Iraqi flag over it, after inflicting heavy human and material losses on the enemy.

Earlier today, ‘We Are Coming, Nineveh’ Operations Command announced liberating Badush Cement Plant, al-Orouba neighborhood and the industrial area, in western Mosul.

Meanwhile, joint security forces, backed by the Army Aviation, Iraqi Air Force and US-led coalition air force, continue their extensive military operations to liberate the western side of the city of Mosul, as well as driving out the Islamic State group.
