(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – Six persons, including security members, were either killed or wounded in a shooting near a Husseiniyah march, northeast of Baqubah, Alsumaria News reported on Tuesday.

Alsumaria News stated, “The shooting took place near a Husseiniyah march in Abdullah Bin Ali intersection (13 km northeast of Baqubah) between security forces and militants, resulting in the killing of 3 persons, including a security member and wounding of three others, including a civilian.”

“Security forces cordoned off the area of incident and opened an investigation into its circumstances,” Alsumaria added.

More than 370 Husseiniyah followers were gathered along the main roads between Diyala and the capital, Baghdad, to serve the visitors of Imam Hussein’s Arba’een.
