Six ISIS members killed at north of Ramadi

( Anbar – Anbar Police Command on Saturday announced about the gunning down of six (6) ISIS members while they were trying to sneak into al-Zankoura area in northern Ramadi.

Anbar Policr Chief Major General Hadi Zereeg, in a statement, said, “This morning, security forces managed to foil ISIS attempt of sneaking into Zankoura in northern Ramadi and this resulted in the death of six (6) ISIS members and demolition of a booby-trapped vehicle.”

“The security forces enhanced its presence in all areas at northern Ramadi in anticipation of possible terrorist attacks, targeting the security forces. ISIS is trying to launch attacks to break the siege imposed on its cells at northern Ramadi and Khalidiya island,” he added.
