 Suicide bombing kills soldier, wounds 4 others north of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Saturday, Baghdad Operations Command announced the killing of a soldier and wounding four others in a suicide bombing that targeted a security post belonging to the army in the area of al-Husseiniya north of the capital Baghdad.

The media office of Baghdad Operations Command said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “A terror attack by a booby-trapped vehicle driven by a suicide bomber targeted a checkpoint for the Iraqi army at the entrance of al-Husseiniya area,” pointing out that, “The attack resulted in the death of one soldier and wounding four others.”
