(IraqiNews.com) British Foreign Minister Philip Hammond said Thursday, that it could take a year or two years for the U.S.-led coalition to expel the ISIS group from Iraq, according to Sky News.
“This isn’t going to be done in three months or six months. It’s going to take a year, two years to push ISIS (IS) back out of Iraq but we are doing the things that need to be done in order to turn the tide,” Hammond told Sky News.
His statement came during a meeting for foreign ministers of 21 countries in London, including the Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, French Prime Minister Laurent Fabius and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
