Ten ISIS fighters killed in Iraqi airstrike northwest of Ramadi

( Anbar – A security source in Anbar Province announced on Tuesday, that ten fighters of the so-called ISIS were killed and their vehicles were destructed in an air strike targeted ISIS site northwest of Ramadi (110 km west of Baghdad).

The source said in a brief statement received by, “The Iraqi Air Force launched an air strike using Sukhoi aircrafts on a site belonging to ISIS in Albu Thiyab area northwest of Ramadi,” pointing out that, “The operation resulted in the killing of ten ISIS members.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The air strike also destroyed a number of ISIS military- mechanisms, including 23 mm cannon, a detachment of 82 mm mortars, in addition to a booby trapped vehicle.”
