 Tens of ISIS members killed in airstrike in Mosul, says Joint Operations

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Joint Operations Command announced on Friday the killing of tens of ISIS elements during an aerial bombing that targeted ISIS positions in the city of Mosul, while pointed out that the air strike resulted in the death of the ISIS bombers officer as well as the financial officer in the so-called Wilayat Nineveh.

Joint Operations said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Iraqi [Army] Aviation, based on intelligence information, conducted an aerial strike that targeted ISIS gatherings in the beloved Mosul, resulting in the death of tens of terrorists including notable leaders.”

The statement added, “The [ISIS] financial officer of Wilayat Nineveh as well as the suicide bombers officer and four of his adies were among the dead.”
