 Thousands of soldiers deployed to protect visitors of Imam al-Kazim in Baghdad, says Federal Police Commander

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Federal Police Command announced on Wednesday, that it will deploy thousands of security elements to protect the visitors during the occasion of the visit of Imam al-Kazim in the area of al-Kazemiyah in Baghdad.

Commander of the Federal Police Forces, Lt. Gen. Raed Shaker Jawdat, stated in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Thousands of soldiers have been deployed to security checkpoints and patrols to provide the necessary protection for the visitors of the holy city of al-Kazemiyah.”

“The Federal Police had allocated 274 vehicles to contribute in the transportation of the visitors, in addition to setting medical detachments to provide the necessary medical aid.” Jawdat added.
