Total curfew imposed in Amiriya Fallujah until further notice

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – Amiriya Local Council in Anbar Province announced on Wednesday imposing a comprehensive curfew in Amiriya in southern Fallujah until further notice, after launching a security operation to liberate the remaining areas from the ISIS control.
The local council member, Khudair Al-Rashed, said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The joint forces imposed a comprehensive curfew on the movement of people, cars, motorcycles and bicycles in Amiriya vicinity in southern Fallujah, after launching the liberation operations of the remaining areas from the ISIS control,” noting that, “The curfew began this morning until further notice.”
Rashed added, “The security forces closed all entrances to Amiriya, in anticipation of possible ISIS attacks on civilians or military forces.”
