Tribal sheikh killed at his house in central Baqubah

(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – A tribal sheikh and a civilian were killed on Wednesday morning in a suicide attack launched by unidentified men at sheikh’s house in central Baqubah. This information was shared by a source in Diyala Province.

According to information shared by the source, it was mentioned, “This morning unidentified gunmen stormed into the house of one of al-Juraniya tribe’s sheikhs in central Baqubah, and opened fire towards the sheikh and one of his guests, killing both on the spot.

The source added, “Security forces rushed to the incident area and transferred the dead bodies to the forensic department and have also initiated an investigation.”
