Tribesmen repel ISIS attack, kill 6 militants in eastern Ramadi

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, a security source in Anbar province announced, that six ISIS militants have been killed during violent clashes with tribesmen in the area of Albu-Ghanim, located in eastern Ramadi.

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “Today, tribal fighters from the tribe of Albu-Ghanim have managed to repel an attack by the ISIS group militants on the area of Albu-Ghanim,” pointing out that, “The violent clashes between the two sides resulted in killing six elements of the ISIS group and inflicting big losses upon ranks of the group.”
