(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Wednesday, US President Barack Obama ordered the acceleration of the delivery of equipment and necessary materials to Iraqi forces, Peshmerga and clans.
“Reuters” quoted the White House as saying, “President Barack Obama ordered the acceleration of the extradition of equipment and necessary materials to Iraqi forces, Kurdish Peshmerga fighters and tribes,” without giving further details.
The White House announced earlier on Wednesday that US President Barack Obama’s decision to send extra troops to Iraq came at the request of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, stressing that they will not participate combat tasks.
