U.S.-led strike kills dozens of ISIS militants in southern Tikrit

Salahuddin ( On Tuesday, a security source in Salahuddin province announced, that dozens of ISIS militants have been killed and injured in an air strike by the Iraqi Air Force in southern Tikrit.

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “Today the military units achieved a breakthrough in the areas of southern Tikrit then made a tactical retreat after coordinating with the Army’s Air Force,” pointing out that, “The Iraqi warplanes have carried out intensive air strikes against sites for the ISIS group militants in southern of Tikrit city.”

“The air strikes resulted in killing and injuring dozens of elements of the ISIS group,” the source added.
