U.S.-led strike kills, injures 25 ISIS fighters southwest of Kirkuk

Kirkuk ( On Sunday, a security source in Kirkuk province said, that 25 ISIS elements have been either killed or injured in an air strike by the U.S.-led international coalition in southwest of the province.

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “This evening, warplanes of the international coalition conducted an air strike against tactical sites and weapons stores for the ISIS group militants in central al-Hawija (southwest of Kirkuk),” pointing out that, “The air strike resulted in killing 10 elements of the ISIS group and injuring 15 others in the area.”

“The air strike was based on accurate intelligence received by the coalition forces,” the source also added.
