 Unidentified gunmen kill senior ISIS leader in central Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A local source in Nineveh province said on Friday, that a leader within ISIS had been killed, along with three of his aides, by an armed attack in central Mosul.

According to information shared by the source and received by IraqiNews.com, “This afternoon, unidentified militants opened fire at the vehicle [of] the ISIS leader Hayman Galal, known as Abi Abdul-Rahman al-Kurdi, and three of his aides in central Mosul, resulting in their immediate death.”

The information further added, “The militants fled to an unknown destination, while [ISIS] elements carried out an extensive campaign in the surrounding areas to search for the attackers.”
