URGENT: 24 dead, 52 wounded in suicide bombing in the south of Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, according to a police source, the outcome of the suicide bombing of southern of Baghdad has risen to 24 dead and 52 wounded.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com “The outcome of the suicide bombing this afternoon, in a checkpoint near the entrance to the south of the capital Baghdad, reached 24 dead and 52 wounded, including police officers, as well as the burning of a number of wheels.”

A source in the police said earlier that 8 people were killed and 47 others wounded, including police elements, in the suicide bombing in the south of Baghdad.
