URGENT: Car bomb killed 5, injured 11 in eastern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a source within the police said that an explosion targeted a popular restaurant in eastern Baghdad killed 5 people and injured 11 others.

The source informed IraqiNews, “A car bombing that targeted a popular restaurant in al-Badawiya area in eastern Baghdad left 5 dead and 11 injured.” He also added, “Security forces shortly blockaded the area of the explosion and carried the victims out to a near hospital while the dead bodies were sent to the Forensic Medicine Authority in Baghdad.”
