Baghdad ( The chief of the General Commander of Armed Forces office, Maj. Gen. Farouq al-Araji, was transported to London for medical treatment due to deterioration of his health.

Source at Iraq embassy in London told Iraqi News on Saturday “Araji arrived to London to receive medication,” noting that “His health condition is not stabile now.”

“The initial tests showed that he suffers brain cancer,” the source added.

“Araji may undergo surgery during the next hours,” he concluded.
