Urgent – .IED targets official in northern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Director of Rusafa Citizenship Department was injured due to a sticky IED explosion at Maghreb crossroad in Waziriya neighborhood of northern Baghdad.

A security source told Iraqi News on Wednesday “An IED that was stuck to the victim’s car exploded on Wednesday morning in Waziriya neighborhood resulted in injuring the director.”

“A security force rushed to the incident place and transported the injured to a hospital for treatment,” the source added.
