Urgent – Iraq-Jordan international roads blocked off by gunmen in Anbar

Anbar, Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) Four bridges were detonated on the international road that links Iraq and Jordan through Anbar province.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”Unidentified gunmen detonated the four bridges about (30 KM) to the north of Rutba district in Anbar province.”

”Though the explosion did not result in any human casualties, yet it blocked off the road towards Jordan and stopped the traffic movement fully,” the source added.

The armed groups have detonated several bridges previously in various areas of Anbar province situated on strategic road that links Iraq with Jordan.
