Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, according to a security source in Salahuddin province, the organization of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant looted and then destroyed 200 homes in the village of Azwiya north of Baiji.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com that “the gangs of ISIL blew up 200 residential houses belonging to the people of the village of Azwiya north of Baiji.”

The source, who asked not to be named, added that “the elements of ISIL robbed those houses before detonating them amid a wave of displaced villagers,” noting that “the people are living a difficult humanitarian situation.”
