Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) According to Iraqi security sources in Anbar province, ISIS advanced in three villages east of Ramadi, the largest city in the province, after the security forces withdrawal from those villages.

The same sources added that these villages are experiencing major mass exodus amid fears of revenge attacks that will threaten civilians lives.

MP for Anbar and member of the Parliamentary Committee on Security and Defense, Mohammed Karbouli, said he would hold ministers of defense and interior responsible if Ramadi fell in ISIS grip.

For his part, the governor of Anbar Suhaib al-Rawi said that Baghdad sent military forces to Anbar to enhance the capacity of the police forces in Ramadi, in an attempt to repel ISIS attacks on the city.
