Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “Unidentified gunmen in two cars opened fire against Talib al-Hasnawi, the Mayor of al-Kifil district, resulting in injuring him.”
“Hasnawi was visiting one of the gas stations when the gunmen attacked him,” the source added, noting that “Hasnawi and his driver clashed with the gunmen where the gunmen managed to escape.”
