Urgent – .Officer killed, 3 others injured in Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Assistant Director of Nineveh Police Intelligence was killed while three other officers were injured due to an IED to the south of Mosul.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “An IED that was planted in a roadside in Hamam al-Aleel sub-district of southern Mosul exploded targeting a car carrying four officers. The explosion resulted in killing the Colonel, Faris al-Rashidi, Assistant Director of Nineveh Police Intelligence while three other officers were injured.”

“The security forces transported the dead body of the victim to the morgue and the injured to a hospital for treatment,” the source added.
