Urgent – 76 dead, injured by 2 car bombings targeting Shiite pilgrims

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The death and injury toll due to two car bombings at the Rasheed area of southern Baghdad hit 76.

Security sources told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”The human causalities due to the two car bombings, which exploded in Rasheed area of southern Baghdad, reached (25) deaths and (51) injuries.”

Earlier, two car bombs exploded in Rasheed area of southern Baghdad targeting Shiite pilgrims heading towards Karbala province to commemorate rituals of Arbaeen anniversary of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and resulted in killing and wounding (15) persons as an initial count.
