URGENT: West Iraq Hit city’s Police Director assassinated

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: The Director of west Iraq’s Hit City, Lt. Brigadier Mohammed Faisal, has been assassinated in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast on his motorcade at the centre of the city, killing and wounding four of his guards on Monday, an Anbar police command’s source said. “An IED blew up against the motorcade of Hit city’s Police Director, Lt. Brigadier Mohammed Faisal, killing and wounding four of his guards, two of them in a serious condition and were driven to a  nearby hospital for treatment,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
