US-led coalition launches airstrikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Tuesday, US-led coalition launched a number of air strikes against the so-called ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
The international coalition said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition aviation conducted six air strikes near Sultan Abdullah City in southern Mosul, destructing combat sites, a booby-trapped vehicle and rockets launchers.”
The statement added, “The coalition aviation also carried out four air strikes against ISIS near Kisik in western Mosul, destroying a cache, a hideout and a combat site,” indicating that, “One air strike was conducted on ISIS headquarters near Mosul.”
“The international coalition also targeted ISIS oil resources in Syria,” the statement added.
