(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Monday, a source in al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia said, that the volunteer forces managed to liberate a number of strategic sites in Hamrin Mountains area.

The senior leader in a-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia, Hasan al-Sari, stated in an interview for IraqiNews.com “The 17th battalion of al-Jihad Brigades alongside the security forces have managed to liberate a number of strategic sites in the area of Hamrin Mountains,” pointing out that, “The forces have killed dozens of terrorists during fierce clashes in the area.”

The al-Jihad Brigades are affiliated with the Shia militia of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi in Iraq.
