War Media Cell announces killing of 67 ISIS elements in military operations in Anbar and Salahuddin

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The War Media Cell announced on Tuesday, that the Iraqi security forces, Iraqi Army Aviation and the international coalition had managed to kill 67 elements of the ISIS organization during the military operations in the provinces of Anbar and Salahuddin.
The cell said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com: “The leadership of the federal police forces spotted and destroyed five vehicles for ISIS terrorists in al-Sad Line area, located in east of Husaybah, while managed to foil an attack by ISIS militants and kill 21 element of the organization in the same area,” adding that, “The federal police force was also able to monitor and treat a terrorist group consisting of 10 elements and two vehicles east of Husaybah.”
The statement read, “Those forces provided support for the frontline forces by firing rockets and burning a number of vehicles, while another force from the federal police had raided the enemy’s sites in the same area and managed to kill five terrorists and burn three vehicles that were carrying weapons,” pointing out that, “Baghdad Operations forces, backed by the federal police forces and volunteers, continued advancing in their operations in the area of al-Karma, resulting in the killing of two terrorists and the destruction of three vehicles that had carried machine guns, in addition to destroying a shelter for the enemy and killing whomever inside it.”
“The leadership of the air force carried out 28 air strikes and the leadership of the army aviation carried out 30 air strikes, while the international coalition conducted 14 air strikes, resulting in killing 29 terrorists and the destruction of a rockets launcher and nine shelters for the enemy.”
