Expo 2020 celebrates Iraq national day
The Iraq Pavilion in the Opportunity District area of the Expo 2020 Dubai.
Dubai (IraqiNews.com) – The Expo 2020 celebrated Iraq’s National Day at the world expo hosted by Dubai in the United Arab Emirates on Friday, December 10.
In attendance were high-level individuals including Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Commissioner General of Expo 2020 Dubai; Dr. Ali Allawi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; Saleh Al Tamimi, Under-secretary of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Mudaffar Mustafa Al Jubouri, Iraqi Ambassador to the UAE; and more.
Entertainment and performances took place at the Jubilee Park area of Expo 2020 including Shatha Hassoun and Hatem Al-Iraqi performing a collection of their famous song hits. Folklore dancing and music also took place showcasing a performance of traditional Iraqi dancing.
The Iraqi Pavilion is located at the Opportunity District of the Expo 2020 Dubai.
