Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Midient, an Iraqi startup that was co-founded by Ahmed Jamal, Mohammed Shahoyi, Omer Sabah, and Ahmed Bayiz has received a pre-seed round investment from regional accelerator Flat6Labs in the amount of $115,000.

Midient provides a loyalty program that offers a creative approach to digital loyalty solutions, which has been gaining traction with investors, and the good news does not end there. Midient has also been picked for a $10,000 pilot investment by Loyal VC, a Canadian venture fund. This pilot investment may result in a future investment of up to $200,000.

Based in Erbil, Midient’s Kurdivia app allows brick-and-mortar companies to set up their loyalty program on their mobile phones in about 10 minutes. The software allows businesses to create their own loyalty program with configurable features like points, awards, and promotions. Customers may join a company’s loyalty program by downloading the Kurdivia app and scanning a QR code at the location of the shop.

The investments will allow the app to expand its reach and offer its services to more businesses in Iraq.

The Kurdivia app is currently available for download on both the App Store and Google Play.
