 New Italian ambassador presents credentials to President of Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – New Italian ambassador to Iraq, Maurizio Greganti, presented his credentials to the President of Iraq, Barham Salih today.

He takes over ambassador Bruno Antonio Pasquino who has been the Italian ambassador to Iraq since 2017.

On 14 December, Ambassador Greganti was quoted in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Twitter account: “It is an honor to start the mission in Iraq, a country to which we are linked by an ancient and deep friendship.”
