Breaking news ... Iraqi youth team qualifies to AFC final match

Baghdad ( The Iraqi youth football team qualified for the final match of Asian Football Championship Under 19 after beating the Australian team on Wednesday.

The Iraqi team scored two goals against its Australian counterpart during the match which took place in Ras al-Khayma playground in the UAE within the semi-final of the AFC for youth U 19.

The first goal was scored by the player, Mohamed Abdul Rahman, (60 minute) while the second goal was scored by, Jawad Kadhim, five minutes before the end of the match.

Though, the Iraqi team played well, yet, the team missed many good opportunities for scoring while the Iraqi goalkeeper, Mohamed Hammed, managed to standa against a penalty kick for the Australian team.

The Iraqi youth team will face the South Korean team in the final match which will take place on Ras al-Khayma playground in the UAE next Saturday. \
