Head of Asian Olympic Council to visits Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Olympic Committee announced on Saturday “The Head of the Asian Olympic council, Ahmed Fahad al-Ahmed, will visit Iraq at the end of March.”The Iraqi Olympic Committee reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com “The Head of the Asian Olympic Council will visit Iraq to support the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports, Iraqi Olympic Committee and the Iraqi Football Association within their efforts to lift the ban imposed on Iraq in relation to hosting the friendly and formal matches inside Iraq.””The meeting of the Executive Office of FIFA, which is scheduled to be held on 21/March, will address the Iraqi file supported by the requests presented by the Heads of Gulf Unions during Khaliji 21 which was held in Bahrain,” the statement added. \
