Iraq ranks 2nd in world Muay Thai championship

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com Iraq ranked second in the world Muay Thai championship hosted in Uzbekistan with three silver medals, according to the Iraqi federation chief on Saturday. “Muay Thai fighter Amir Ibrahim Abdulrazeq won a silver in the 57 kg event after losing to Uzbekistan’s Vladimir Novo, Ali Saher a silver in the 60 kg event to Uzbekistan’s Memhud Sovono while Adel Jawwad Abdul-Kadhem obtained a gold in the 71 kg competitions, also to an Uzbek fighter,” Mahdi Ali Dweger told IraqiNews.com news agency.
