Iraqi football team arrives in UAE to meet Congo counterpart

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi football team conducted its first training on Sharqa Stadium in the UAE to prepare for playing two friendly matches versus the Congo counterpart on March 28th and 31st.

Head of the Iraqi delegation, Malih Mahdi said to IraqiNews.com “The Iraqi team conducted its first training which included excluding the players Muhanned Irzaij from Karkh FC, Adnan Atiyya from Talaba FC and Mohammed Qabil from Baghdad FC.”

He noted that “Excluding these players is not for ever since the coach does not have enough time to try new players before playing versus the Congo team.” /End/
