Iraqi football team U-23 to play friendly match versus UAE on Friday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Football Team U-23 will conclude its training camp held in Ajman in the UAE to prepare for the qualifications of the Rio De Janeiro Olympic Games when it plays its friendly match versus the UAE counterpart at six o’clock of Friday evening.

Head of the Iraqi delegation Yahya Zighayer stated to IraqiNews.com “The Iraqi team U-23 will play versus its UAE counterpart at the conclusion of its training camp held by the Iraqi Football Association on Friday.”

He added “The Iraqi team will depart the UAE heading towards the Omani capital, Muscat on Saturday to join the Olympic qualifications,” noting that “Players of Erbil FC and Shurta FC have joined the Iraqi football team.”

It is worth to mention that the Iraqi team played two friendly matches during tis UAE training camp versus Jordan and KSA where both ended (2-1)for the benefit of the Iraqi team. /End/
