Leaflets dropped by international coalition aircrafts in Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) A source within the Kurdish Peshmerga forces announced on Tuesday, that the international coalition aircrafts have dropped leaflets in the center of Mosul, warning its residents of being near the ISIS group headquarters.

The leaflets emphasized that Mosul’s liberation is soon.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews, “The international coalition aircrafts dropped leaflets in Mosul downtown yesterday evening, warning people of approaching the ISIS group headquarters and urging them not to cooperate with its elements.”

The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added, ” The leaflets reported that the liberation of Mosul is soon and that the army will not be exposed to civilians.”

Minister of Defense Khalid al-Obeidi announced on March 4 that the battle to liberate Mosul will be Iraqi planned.
