Official expects Iraqi, Saudi handball teams qualify to Asian Cup

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Iraqi Central Handball Association, Falah Hamid, expected that “The Iraqi national team and the Saudi Arabian Handball teams are the most likely teams to be qualified for the quarter-final round of the Asian Cup U20 which will be held in China within 12-24 August.

Hamid stated to IraqiNews.com ”The Iraqi team presented remarkable levels and gained positive results when the Iraqi team won the second position in the Arab Handball Cup held in Tunis.””

The Iraqi team will face the Chinese team on 13 August and on the next day will play against the handball team of Mongolia and finally will play versus its Saudi counterpart on 15 August.
