BOC: Security forces kill 5 gunmen, arrest Qaeda leading figure in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The security forces clashed with five terrorists in Baghdad while they were attempting to attack the pilgrims in Baghdad on Tuesday.

A statement by Baghdad Operations Command received by Alforat News Agency cited “The forces killed them during the clashes in al-Zambarzaniya area in Baghdad.”

“Another force arrested a key Qaeda leader,” noting that “He gave information about another terrorist and the security forces killed him while he was attempting to detonate his explosives,” the statement concluded.
