IA kills 3 terrorists in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A force from the Iraqi Army IA killed three gunmen disguised in military uniform after clashing with them in Halabsa area in Baghdad.

A statement by the Baghdad Operations Command received by IraqiNews.com cited “A force from IA 17th Division clashed with a terrorist group disguised in a military uniform in Halabsa area and managed to kill three of the terrorists while the rest of the group escaped to unknown destination.”

The statement added “Another force discovered a weapons cache hidden in at an irrigation channel in Mishahda area,” noting that “The cache comprised a bomb, 5 hand-grenades, four mortar shells and ammunition for BKC gun.”

“Many wanted individuals according to article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law have been arrested in different areas of Baghdad during the last 24 hours,” the statement concluded.
