IA patrol attacked in northern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) An Improvised Explosive Device exploded targeting an Iraqi Army patrol in northern Tikrit city of central Salah-il-Din province on Saturday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IED went off in Kanous village killing a soldier and injuring three others in addition to causing material damages to their vehicle.”

“A security force cordoned the explosion area and transported the injured to the hospital for treatment as well as the dead to the morgue,” the source concluded.
