7 IPs killed, injured southern Tikrit [09/04/2013]

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Seven policemen were killed and injured when unidentified gunmen attacked their checkpoint of southern Tikrit.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Unidentified gunmen attacked a police checkpoint in Abasiya area of southern Tikrit to result in killing two of the policemen and injuring five others.”

“The security forces transferred the injuries to the nearby hospital for treatment and the dead bodies to the morgue,” the source concluded.
