MoI denies killing woman in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Interior denied the reports over killing a woman by the the security guards of the ministry accidently in Bab al-Sharqi area of central Baghdad.The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Saad Maan, declared in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The security forces fired a gunshot in the air to alarm a driver who was driving reverse the traffic flow.””The gunshot hit a concrete block and rebounded to injure a woman in her leg,” the statement mentioned, noting that ”The security forces hurried up to rescue the woman who left the hospital in very good health condition to her house.”

”The security forces conducted the legal procedures against the driver,” the statement concluded. \END\
