3 Sahwa elements killed, injured northern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Three Sahwa elements were either killed or injureddue to an armed attack to the north of Baghdad.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com “An armed group attacked using machine-guns on Tuesday evening a check point for Sahwa located in Tarmiya area of northern Baghdad,” noting that “The attack resulted in killing a Sahwa element and injuring two others.”

“The gunmen fled to unknown destination after conducting the attack, while the dead body was transferred to the morgue and the injuries to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
