Head of Turkmen Front survives assassination in Tuz Khormato

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) The Head of Turkmen Front, Haythem Hashim Uglo, survived an assassination attempt when an Improvised Explosive Device went off in Salah-il-Din province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”The IED, which was emplaced on a roadside, exploded targeting the motorcade of Uglo in Askari neighborhood in Tuz Khormato district of eastern Tikrit city.”

”The explosion resulted in wounding one of Uglo bodyguards and causing material damages to vehicle which Uglo was in,” the source added.

”The security forces transported the wounded to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
