Urgent – Former director of electricity projects assassinated in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A former official was killed due to an armed attack to the west of Mosul.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting the former director of electricity projects, Wathiq Mamdoh, and a former member within Nineveh Provincial Council of Christian religion, Nagham Jacob, in Muzarea neighborhood of western Mosul.’

”’Mamdoh was killed while Jacob survived the armed attack and the gunmen managed to flee after the attack,” the source added.”The security forces transported the dead body to the morgue,” the source concluded.
